Album and party

Hello. Keni here.
Today we are recovering from a birthday bash we had for Gunther, and another party for the album release.
We are very tired and not feeling too good.
There was lots of calm juice and a few other drinks too. I really liked one called 'Cuba river'...it was strong but made me feel real happy!
The other guys were drinking lots too and were doing crazy things! Gunther decided he was Robert DeNiro from Taxi Driver and was posing in front of a mirror saying 'You talking to me?' half the night!
Heck talks a lot after a few calm juices and Lenny too but we couldn't understand him because he was trying to talk like Lee Perry!
I can't remember what I did!
Anymoo, our new album, 'Moovin dub' was released on Friday. We did a free gig at a CD store and quite a few people turned up. Ozzy couldn't make it as the keyboard player so Manager Nickles stood in...we didn't know he could play! He was really good.
We are not sure how sales are going yet but the CD store we played at sold out while we were playing.
So it was a good weekend.
I'm goona get back to bed, not feeling to hot.
See you.

Moovin' dub

Hi everybody, Heck here.
Well, our new album is now ready for release! Great yeah?!
The official release date is March 25th which is also Gunther's birthday!
We are really pleased with the album, and we are looking forward to touring as a dub band yeah.
And guess what? Ozzy will be joining us for the tour as the 5th member!! He will be on keyboards...great yeah! He told us though that he will only do this one tour as he has other things to do, but we are so chuffed and irie to have him. Good man is Ozzy!
We will start the tour in Kingston, Jamaica! Lee Perry invited us there! He is a cool dude, weird but cool yeah!
We are meeting so many famous musicians now. Yesterday Ringo Starr called us and told us he really likes our music. Ringo is a personal favourite of mine so I was honoured to talk to him yeah. Cool guy Ringo.
Gunther really likes Demis Roussos so he tried to contact him but Demis would not return his call. Gunther still has faith in Demis though.
Lenny worships Lee Perry now so he is really happy we are starting the tour in Jamaica yeah.
Crazy Keni likes Laurie Anderson very much. He went one of her concerts just after we finished recording Moovin' dub and enjoyed it immensly yeah.
So as you can see we all enjoy music in it's many different forms.
Who knows what genre our next album will be yeah?!
Anymoo, we are getting ready for the 'Moovin' dub tour'. It will be great yeah! Please come to one of our gigs!
Irie!

New album

Hello, it is me, Crazy Keni.
Well as Lenny (or Lenny-maaaan as he prefers to be called now)told you, we have begun recording our next album. And it is a dub album not a metal album.
We all like playing dub a lot so we all decided that we had to make a dub album. Manager Pickles was not so keen, he thought we should continue with metal, but he does say we play good dub. Ozzy was really confused about it at first, dub was too weird for him, but after a while he started getting into it. In fact, now he really likes it and asked to be involved in the album and of course we said yes. So he will be on keyboards as none of us can play as well as he can on keyboard.
Anyway, back to Lenny-maaaan! He is really getting into the whole dub image thing. He bought a rasta tea-cosy for Anubis to wear and has been changing his own image. He now wears a tea-cosy that Gunther bought him as a joke...he took it seriously though! He never takes it off! And of course he is talking like a Rasta. He listened to lots of Peter Tosh and Bob Marley interviews and has the accent and language down pat! (Gunther taught me the 'pat' pun!..heehee!).
So recording for the album is going great. We have recorded 24 songs so far but will use only 12 or so. As Lenny-maaaan told you, he named the album 'Moovin dub' which we all agreed was a catchy name.
I really feel like a member of the band now, the change of music style certainly helped. The first few months were hard because I was a stranger, but now things are great. I miss Japan and my family but the guys have been really good to me, they are my bros!
Anymoo, recording will finish soon and we will start promoting it and the touring will begin again.
Thats all for now. Have a good day.
Yoroshiku!

Break

Hi, Heck here.
Well touring is finally over for the time being yeah.
We did 61 gigs altogether and man, are we tired!
It was fun though and we are looking forward to next year.
But in the meantime we will enjoy the year end break yeah.
We decided to go back to the farm for Xmas and New Year's. It is good to see everyone on the farm again.
Everyone is so proud of us and the younger calves ask us to play a few songs which we do, they really dig it yeah!
We take everyone out for rides in the Sensimilla mobile which they enjoy as they don't get out often.
We may be the world famous Cow Bros but we like to think we are still down to Earth yeah.
Anymoo, enjoy your New Year's holiday and take care yeah.
Right on!

Ozzy!

Hey there! It's Gunther!
How are you? Long time no see huh?!
As you know we are touring and it's hard work but fun.
We have done over 40 gigs now and soon we will take a break.
I am looking forward to catching up on my movies. I have a rather impressive DVD collection now but not as much time as I would like to watch them all.
Lenny has been weird recently. He thinks he is a Rastafarian! Everytime you ask him something or just say hello, he replies with 'Yaa man' or 'Haile Salaaaaasie'. I bought him a green, yellow and black tea cosy and told him he can wear it on his head...he wasn't amused!! Heehee!
And as Heck told you I am dressing up as Gene Simmons and spitting blood...it's really fun and the crowd go crazy! I am wishing I played bass now! I want to setup my drum kit on a small stage and have it hoisted up into the air while I play, just like Gene Simmons used to do. Manager Nickles says we couldn't do that at the clubs we play at, we would have to play at really big auditoriums for that...ah well.
Anymoo, at our last gig Ozzy turned up! He disguised himself as Ace Freley from Kiss so the crowd would not recognise him, at least that was the plan. But he stuttered a little too much while talking to an audience member then walked the way he does and the jig was up. Pandemonium ensued and we had to save him!
When everything calmed down he joined us onstage for a version of 'Party all night' by Kiss...it was fun and I tell you, Ozzy has not lost his touch!
Well I'm gonna go, we have a soundcheck soon.
Be cool!

Groupies

Hi, Heck of the Cow Bros here.
Well, the touring continues and man, are we tired yeah!
We are playing 5 to 8 gigs a week and I have lost count of how many clubs, pubs, bars, concert halls we have played in!
We are getting sell-out gigs every time though which is good yeah?!
The other guys are holding up well. Despite the hard work we are all still good buds and enjoy hanging out together which Manager Nickles says is great...unlike the Dead Kennedys who didn't do so well yeah?!
We have also experienced a new thing called 'groupies'. These groupie people are ladies who like to follow us to around and ask if we would marry them yeah! Is that weird or what?? We don't even know them! They also say other things that I would rather not repeat here yeah.
At first we were flattered but now we just say we have girlfriends and give them autographed photos yeah. Most of them are hoomans but there are some nice cow ladies and even a couple of sheeps! Weird huh?!
Gunther has not come up with another drum stunt but he has tried something else. He now does gigs dressed up as Gene Simmons from Kiss! He pokes his tongue out a lot and has weird make-up yeah! He looks cool actually! At the end of a gig he spits out a lot of fake blood which makes the audience cheer yeah.
Lenny is talking real funny now. For example if I ask him 'How ya doing there Lenny?', he answers 'I be doin' good maaan...Hail Sellasie' and stuff like that. He is taking this Rastafarian stuff really seriously yeah?!
Crazy Keni has been writing lots of dub music recently, he spends every spare minute on it. Our next album will definitely be a dub one, and most of it will be his material. I particularily like his 'Dub dub dubby dub dub' song he wrote...it really speaks for itself yeah?!
As for myself, I have been getting into sports cars recently. A Ferrari passed the 'Sensimilla mobile' recently, and I tell you, it was dang impressive yeah! I can't fit inside one but Ireally want to travel fast like that so I am trying to find ways to be a speed demon!
Take care yeah!
